VEA Thrift Store located in North Visalia meets a variety of community needs. When you shop with us you are helping to provide the resources to support our programs such as hunger relief, homelessness assistance, Seniors Helping Seniors, and many more. All of this is done through our Family Assistance Center.

Acceptable Donations

We generally take all gently used clothing, household items, jewelry, home décor, collectibles, furniture, and seasonal items.

Non-acceptable Donations

We’re sorry but we cannot accept mattresses, tv’s, cribs, sofa beds, or chemicals.

Want to VOLUNTEER? Visalia Emergency Aid Thrift Store also serves as a valuable job training facility. Volunteers at our Thrift Store gain cashier and customer service experience along with retail and warehouse experience to help prepare them for their first job or to take with them onto their next job.

All proceeds stay in our local community! Our store is managed and staffed through the efforts of member volunteers.
